Welcome to the App First Community

Hi everyone,

I am the tell me about yourself blog. So it’s my duty to give you some context—what this site is about, what we want to do, how we plan to do it.

So, let’s begin.

What : The App First Community

We are a community centered about applications that bring content and commerce together.

Why: The Vision

We aim to build a community around software applications.

We believe the future is deeply rooted in technology. People will bond over

  1. Applications they use
  2. Applications they want to use
  3. Applications they want to stop using but can’t—because there’s no alternative, or the better option is prohibitively expensive

Around these applications, people will offer and exchange value in many forms, including but not limited to:

  1. Application building, deployment, and implementation
  2. Capability Extensions, Integrations, APIs & Webhooks,
  3. AI Agents Building, LLM integration & MCPs
  4. Application security, Access Management & Governance
  5. Access policy automation & Enforcement
  6. Risk analysis, Security insights & intelligence,
  7. Security audit , Compliances & certification
  8. Search, Querying, Analytics & BI
  9. UI enhancements & Themes
  10. Containerization, Cloud Marketplace Listing, Hosting, and Managed services
  11. Data storage, Version upgradation, Data migration, Data collection & ingestion
  12. Notification management, service bundling, and
  13. Training & Education, Certification
  14. Content generation, critical evaluation, and usage guide & best-practice recommendations
  15. Contract negotiation & Renewals, Software procurement
  16. Referrals (lead generation), Channel partnerships, Reselling, and Affiliate marketing,
  17. Consulting services
  18. Community administration, and community support
  19. Capability matrix & Vendor Benchmarking
  20. Product consulting , Advisory services, Market Guides
  21. Future strategy, evolution & disruption

If you observe the list,

None of the above is new. All of this exists today.

The difference is who does it.

Today, most of these activities are driven by organizations. In the future, many—if not all—of them will be driven by individuals.

The emergence of AI has already given us a glimpse of this shift. Today, an individual can:

  1. Build an application
  2. Deploy it
  3. Distribute it to the world

Software development has been democratized.

Content creation was democratized long before that.

The question is not if other activities will be democratized—but when.

When that happens, we will need a community that supports this ecosystem: a new generation of individuals driving the online knowledge economy.

We want to be that platform.

A platform that supports individuals in a collaborative, fair, and transparent manner—providing equal opportunities to learn, build, and grow, while ensuring quality, ethics, and humanity are preserved.

How : The Roadmap

The idea is to enable individuals do anything here. So join our app if wish to

  1. Learn
  2. Build
  3. Sell
  4. Learn
  5. Use
  6. Have a curiosity about how all this is going to work
